Youth Foundations Victoria 

The Youth Foundations Victoria is a new initiative developed by the Australian Government, in partnership the Bendigo bank group and it's community partners.  The commencement of this initiative in 2006 witnessed the establishment of th 1st of 15 Foundations across the state.

The initiative enables community groups in the local area to apply for grants of various amounts to implement developmental activities within their community. 

The 2nd Foundation has now been established and will cover the area from Wandin to Warburton in the Shire of Yarra Rangers.  Bridge Builders is proud to be the leading agency and is currently in the process of building a team of enthusiastic young people to appropriately allocate the funding.

It also enables a facilitator to work on a part time basis with the schools and community groups.

The projects will be directed at local, youth-led community strengthening projects and will address the issues faced by the diverse young people in disadvantaged communities.
