Our Vision

We aim to affect recovery, relief and restoration in the lives of young people and their families.

Our Mission

To create positive opportunities in our community where people can physically, emotionally and spiritually grow, enabling them to reach their God given potential.

Statement of Purpose

1. Focusing and building on the strength of young people

Bridge Builders are committed to developing resilience in young people by challenging them to develop courage and step outside their current environments.

2. Engaging and empowering young people in their community

Bridge Builders seek to engage young people in areas of interest and purpose. Events and projects undertaken by team members are ‘tools’, attractive to youth, that are used to achieve intended outcomes.

3. Developing and reinforcing positive relationships

Bridge Builders is intentional in creating and strengthening relationships, both formally and informally, within the organisations teams and within the community.

4. Unleashing talents and skills within young people

Bridge Builders realise the potential young people have and provide formal and informal opportunities for their potential to be unleashed.

5. Commitment to affecting long term change

Bridge Builders sees the benefit for young people involved in the organisation as being life-long, as the skills and relationships built would provide a new capacity for life, experiencing repetition consistently throughout the journey.

6. Encompassing ‘all’, regardless of age, gender or race

Bridge Builders believe that all young people need the opportunities to the above, regardless of whom they are and where they come from. Bridge Builders also believe that all members of a community are capable, and responsible, for building assets within young people.
